Office of the Village Clerk and Treasurer

Vanessa Scott was appointed Deputy Clerk/Deputy Registrar in October 2018. She comes to the village after 25 years of secretarial/administrative support in the special education setting at Canaseraga Central School.
In June of 2019 Vanessa was appointed as Clerk/Registrar/RMO and Chief Election Officer. Vanessa and her Husband Rich bought a house in the Hornell area at the end of 2020 and enjoy the Hornell area that they now call home with their pups Miss Myla (AKA: The Diva of Hornell and "Deputy Dog of the Village") and Miss Izzy.

The goal of the Clerks office is to offer professional, timely and pleasant service to all Village residents and visitors.

Kristene Libordi was appointed part time Clerk/Treasurer in May 2004 by Mayor Steve Terry. In 2007 she became a full time employee - appointed by Mayor John Falci. Kris has been a Village resident since 1984 and currently resides on Third St. with her husband Frank. She is happy to be working for the Mayor and Village Board.  Kristene partially retired in May of 2019 and is now part time Treasurer for the Village and also serves as appointed Deputy Clerk/Registrar.
