***Home
Improvements***
Before you
start any home improvement, you should contact the clerks office
to see if a contractors permit is required. A Contractors permit is
$10.00 and can be picked up at Village Hall. Contractors will
need to show proof of insurance.
Remember Swimming Pool Owners
New York State Law requires a 4 foot fence to be installed
around your pool if it is 24 inches deep or deeper. Also if you
had a pool installed after December 14, 2006, including the
blow-up pools that are taken down and put up annually, you must
have an alarm system and a building permit. Please check with
our clerk at the Village Hall who can direct you to contact our codes officer. |

Greetings From Village Hall!
I hope you are enjoying our summer and look forward
to the remainder of our good weather.
It has been a busy summer as we finish up work on our new Fire Hall,
prepare for street improvements and the many water and sewer
projects we have.
We are also getting ready to begin remodeling our old fire hall into

barracks, that we hope
will be utilized by our
different police agencies.
We have hung up flag banners on Seneca Road and have received
numerous compliments.
Lowes is interested in doing a project in the Village to help
beautify our community
We are now taking suggestions from our residents.
You may have noticed the new trash receptacles at each end of the
Village. Residents walking dogs will now be able to take advantage
of these litter boxes.
|
|
Please remember to check with
our office before starting a building project. You may need a
building permit and your contractor must be registered with the
Village.
Beware of any peddler that comes to your home. They must have a
permit from our office. Check with us first.
Enjoy the Summer months!
