Village Trustee
For those who don't know me, my name is Peter DiRaimondo.
I would like to sincerely thank the North Hornell Village residents who supported me during the recent election. I'm proud to serve on the Village Board of Trustees once again And uphold the Village responsibilities to better our community. I served on the Village Zoning Board for 3 years prior to my first seat as a Village Trustee, and have since served five terms.
My family moved to North Hornell in 1987 and we raised our two children who both attended St. Ann's and Hornell High School. As a young adult, I spent my summers with family in Hornell. I am a Vietnam Veteran.
North Hornell is a beautiful community and I hope to uphold the responsibilities to keep it that way. As a member of the Board, I plan on working with the other trustees to continue making our community a safe and healthy environment for all.
If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at 607-765-0132.
Trustee Joshua Greenthal
Hello North Hornell Residents,
For those who do not know me, I am Josh Greenthal, and reside on Cleveland Ave in the great village of North Hornell. I recently was elected to the Board of Trustees this year after taking a one-year hiatus, after serving two terms prior.
A little bit about me…. I grew up North Hornell and attended Hornell High School. I moved to Charlotte, NC in 2004 and returned to North Hornell in 2016 to start a family. I am married to Brie Greenthal (Hogan) and we have three children; Finn (7), Wells (5), Rose (almost 2)!
I take a lot of pride is this village and look forward to serving YOU! One of my first acts, as a Trustee, is to continue to move forward with implementing an online version of our village Codes. I started the codes project during my last term and plan to work with the Board and Codes Officer to ensure we see it through. This will allow all residents to access this modern-day resource online while keeping convenience in mind for all.
In addition, the village will be celebrating our 100th Anniversary! I will take lead on this initiative and work with all village employees, North Hornell Volunteer Fire Dept., Board members as well as external businesses that will take part in this milestone for our quaint village.
In closing, I look forward to serving the village, it’s residents and doing my part in continuing to make the Village of North Hornell a wonderful place to call our home. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly, any time, with any questions, concerns, comments or just to meet!
I hope everyone enjoys the turning of the weather and wish everyone to stay safe, healthy and happy!
Best regards,
Josh Greenthal
